Legal Associate / Trainee to be called to the bar

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Managing Director.


  • Draft and review legal documents
  • Manage files, handle multiple projects and deliver quality work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Ensure all client work is progressed expeditiously and the client is kept regularly informed on the progress of the matter
  • Exercise high standards of client care in a professional and courteous manner
  • Deal with other reasonable tasks as assigned from time to time to support the success and continuing performance of the firm


  • Possess 1 to 2 years PQE in corporate and commercial is preferred, but not essential
  • Trainee to be called to the bar may apply
  • Good corporate and commercial sense
  • Good command of English (verbal & written)


  • Able to take initiative, responsible and hardworking
  • Meticulous and well organised
  • Possess pleasant and professional working attitude, demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with people at all levels

Admin Assistant (Half Day Shift)


  • Provide administrative support to lawyers
  • Maintain clients’ database, opening and closing of files, update clients’ file status, record of disbursements and proper filing of all documents
  • Handle incoming calls and schedule conference calls
  • Carry out printing, photocopying, scanning and binding of documents
  • Handle correspondences, office supplies and stationery
  • Manage courier services and mailing of documents
  • Other secretarial and administrative tasks may assign from time to time to support the smooth operation of the firm


  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Efficient, responsible and trustworthy
  • Well organised, thorough, meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to commit for at least 6 months, preferably longer term
  • Flexible work arrangement, half day shift
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice is a plus
  • Potential to convert to full time position if exceptional
